Samsung Galaxy Note 5 review!

samsung-galaxy-note-5

The Galaxy Note line is always been popular but has the note 5 stack-up it first looks like a big improvement. Instead of plastic and fake leather you will find the same aluminum and glass that works so well on the Galaxy S6, this makes the phone a lot easier to use. Unfortunately removable back is gone, which means you can’t swap the battery and there is no microSD card slot. with 32GB of storage standard the lack of microSD isn’t a huge issue but the battery is now 3000mAh which is actually slightly smaller than the Note4.Its enough to get most people through a full day but it still falls a bit short of phones like the iPhone 6+. It is a bit of a shame since the Note series has always been geared towards Power users.

what really separates the note5 from other large phones is the S-pen, in that pops out with one seriously satisfying click.there is almost no lag which pair with the pressure sensitivity means the writing on the note is actually fun.Pop out the S Pen with the screen lot and automatically opens up a new notes so you can write down something quickly. The hardware is nicely laid out the power button on the right side ant volume rocker on the left is nice and comfortable to use and the micro USB and headphone jack on the bottom which is the way to go.

You won’t find an IR blaster for controlling a TV like the Note4 and S6, but you can still measure your heart rate and blood oxygen level which pair with S-help which makes the Note5 a good workout tracker. There is also a fingerprint scanner built into the home button which works decently, but it is not quite as accurate as you like, it takes a couple tries to unlock the phone.

The best features on Note series is the screen, with a 5.7″ display and 1440p resolution this is the best screens you can get now. Since it is an AMOLED display you get top-notch contrast it also gets impressively bright even when you are outside. The only issue with screen is has slight bit of color shifting at an angle, but the Note sets the bar for smartphone displays.

The Note5 is rocking with 4GB of ram,it has the best processing. The multiwindow is good for side by side window, the 4GB of ram make it more. With the same eight-core Exynos CPU from the S6 delivering one of the fastest mobile processor out there, and the graphics are also top notch which is helpful as you need some serious horsepower to push a 1440P screen, in the real world there is more than enough power to handle the best looking games out there normal tasks are  absolutely no problem. The Note5 is with 16 megapixel camera from the Galaxy S6 remains one of the best in the business, with lots of detail and good color, low light can be a bit of a challenge is it is a bit slow intends to overexpose and darker areas, but this is easily one of the best cameras on the phone out there. Video was solid as well 1080p footage rocks with nice detail, but you can’t shoot in 4K.The stabilization makes things look a little like jello.

Finally, The Galaxy Note 5 is one of the best phones you can buy today.
